Made our lass a broach from old copper heating pipe, the amount of pitting is quite surprising.

Thanks, I almost got it done last night, got the switch installed and everything. But I wasn't able to get the old 4-pin connector off of my current torch (it was just plain stuck), so I dunno, I can't go at it much harder or it will break... looks like I will have to buy a new connector. Very annoying.

I bought pre-sensitised board, just peel off the protective layer, lay the OH film pattern over the board with a light source that emits UV, like a CFL lamp. Then develop it in a sodium hydroxide solution, then etch as normal.
Not today but Saturday past.
Had to file down some electric motor brushes and lengthen the lead on them to repair my alternator. I couldnt find anywhere in the local town that sold them on a Saturday.
But between me and and an old friend of my father in law we managed it and the car is back up and running.
Saved me at least £150 as everywhere on the net said "oh you will need a new alternator".

Yesterday I got the first parts cut on my new plasma build and today I welded them together to make this.

It is a hanging block roller for a fishing boats davit arm, the rope from the creels (pots) come over the roller and down to the hauler.
Don't have any videos of the table complete with nothing cutting, there are some on my channel showing the progress as I built it and below is a pic of it after I got it almost complete..

What cutting gas are using on stainless, I wouldn't have thought it's compressed air, lasers use nitrogen to stop it rusting.
