It's a Bauer, pivots vertically on the right hand side of the picture. It's been swung round as far as it will go to the left to get a sharp end on the rebar.
Bloody thing spits cutting fluid to the left and to the right of the machine , so they put a bucket at each end that you need to sling the contents of back into the bed every ten minutes or so. I managed to trip up and spill most of the contents over myself

Just looked at the Baur site and they look conventional, yours just seems to have things back to front to me for some reason. I flipped your image and this is what most saws I have seen looked like.

Ah right. I think I see what you are saying. I'll have to have a proper look next time I'm up there. These guys make Structures for my company every now and again, so I nipped up there to cut these myself. They do feed the steel in from the right hand side so the long end of the piece is out of the door.

It would be good to see a pic of it as it would seem it is backwards from the norm, even the blade guides and the covers look like they are on the opposite side from normal.
Certainly an interesting design.

Knowing the bloke who owned it before, it is probably some type of Frankensaw.
It did cut through that rebar like butter though

Maybe a special order or something or maybe they produced them that way at one time, looks original anyway.
Yes it will not even notice the rebar, even my wee Imet would laugh at it

if you look the vice moves left too right .you can load it from either side that way and its for the double mitre cutting.pretty standard our old one was just the same

I think today it's more like what have I forgot to do and what have I messed up...am still making my lorry tailgate.as welder packed up and had to be sent off..just got it back after a couple of months. But managed to tack parts together but didn't clamp to well .so have a little distortion..
