Who's the lucky lady?Cut and drilled a block of wood to make a finger training, foot crushing device.
13kg is easy with fingers around the edge, but pinching the flat sides will need some weight taken off!

Two non swivelling wheels perpendicular to the “wheeling” wheel on the front and two locking swivelling wheels on the back to keep it from rolling when in use.

It’s not quite a pressbrake wheel but it’ll do for the moment.

You really don’t put much force on the wheel as you push and pull the sheet metal though especially on the small aluminium work I’m doing.I think its great - I just really hope it doesn't move
It’s a little Suzuki GN125 flat tracker that I started over lockdown. What’s the bike please?
I’m getting wed tomorrow,so last weekend got around to making some rings for her, neither of us want bling and she appreciates anything made personal, relief as the budgets been broken.
A piece of 316ss from the offcuts tray ,the copper was stretched with a drift into an oversize die,the resulting flare gave me enough material to swage back to give extra thickness,I’d told her originally I’d go as far as a pipe olive, then on reflection realised she’s worth more,so yet more brownie points.View attachment 362858View attachment 362859
Often found .... Long time stood unused the two-stroke fuel deteriorates, empty the fuel & 1/4 fill with known good fuel at the correct mix ratio, disconnect the HT lead, air filter off, choke on + full throttle .......still won't start, choke off, leave it to stand a few min, then slip a thick carboard blank over the air intake on the carb, jam it in place. throttle wide open and pull over a few times. by now with luck some of the crud fuel will have been pulled through the reed valves & ways of the carb, remove and dry/ clean the plug, put it back + HT. lead then see if it fires up. If it does, ever so gently get the RPM as high as you can and whilst it's high slap that carboard back over the air intake again . often that is enough to quickly clear out old fuel that has had the higher volatile content evaporated off leaving almost neat oil in the carb drillings or sticking the reed valves or float valve down. Repeat three or four times to see if it has fully cleared the carb.came with a couple of bigger sizes that this one screws into, I don't do cars or such, so pretty much have this one dedicated to the chainsaws, and small engine stuff,
Wouldn't be without it, definitely makes diagnosing easier, especially as the majority of the clients have no idea of what the problem is, only that it'll no start, or it was fine when I left it 6 months ago..... can get to the majority of what's wrong in a few minutes... mostly carb related to be fair. If the compressions down, the next thing is exhaust off to see down the cylinder, to see if there's any carnage.
can't remember exactly what I paid, been a good few years now., but think it was around 30 quid....
When my second wife & I got engaged in 1988 the ring was a bit of orange Poly prop binder band string out of a trailer full of cow muck & straw, washed & disinfected of course.I’m getting wed tomorrow,so last weekend got around to making some rings for her, neither of us want bling and she appreciates anything made personal, relief as the budgets been broken.
