Covered with concrete, but I can chip that off quite easily. A nice piece.

Brown vinegar will remove the concrete.

Or a deft blow with a hammer on the reverse side of the concrete.

So far I’m going okay with lifting it with a chisel. Previous owner used too much sand.

Today I made this to mount a spare bathroom extractor fan on my blast cabinet, stick a length of flexy duct on it and dangle the end out of a window, now I can actually see what I'm blasting how the tiny vent with a piece of sponge in it was supposed to work is beyond me.



Then I used the cabinet to blast this and then painted it.

It’s a pants setup as standard, a vacuum cleaner works well provided you add a bigger inlet air filter. The extractor you have fitted will suffer wear from the media passing over it and might get in the bearings, a cyclone filter in line might help.

Fitted an external battery box to my BOC Optrel mask at last, original button cells are soldered to the PCB and sealed in an ultrasonic welded plastic case filled with potting compound.

Simple job 5 minute job I’ve been putting off for ever, wall mounted pressure gauge for the compressor.

And during a clearout I found my number stamps with three letters missing. LLCK doesn’t have the same ring to it!

I did try putting the fan at the other end of the duct so by the time it's sucked the air the length of the duct most of the heavier material will have fallen out of the air flow to give it an easier life but it works better blowing down the duct. If the fan dies I have a couple of spares so I'm not too worried about it.

if its a cheap small Clarke cabinet just putting the 4inch outlet vent hose works without a fan. the pressure from the gun forces the air and dust out

I'd never heard of this so I Googled it - amazing!

Supposed to be finishing off welding the section of shelter I chopped out of this (see below) to allow the old winch to be removed and a new fitted.

It is raining so I have just done 8x 90mm dia 8mm thick handrail pads that will be for a Cheetah which should be arriving next month. Hope the rain goes off soon as I don't have any more inside jobs to do and I hate tidying

More abrasive blasting - only three more things to go! I did this in one sitting and it was very tiring, need some duckboards under the machine as the concrete knackers your feet standing for so long.

I found a Record 25 at uni, now the Woden is a big beast but the 25 is huge! Classic uni tool, quick release is fubar... bet it’s installed upside down.

I have fitted out about 9 so far from 7m to 10m, have another 10m to do as mentioned then Dec/Jan there should be another coming, it is the very latest design one that they are just finishing the mould for at the moment.

Not Quite today but recently finished building this press.
Its 1000mm working width,the ram slides left and right .
Ram was sourced from here and the power pack which i have made a new tank for.
Uprights are 20x100 and the whole thing weighs i guess close to 400kgs hence the wheels.
