Like your taste in Whisky Slim.
Quite fond of the Islay malts myself, can't beat a bit of peat.
Lagavulin is my favourite, but I don't/can't slash out too often on that.

Just because we're "living like a dog in a field" (ie camping) doesn't mean I can't have my coffee in the morning!

^^ You've got more patience than I, mate.![]()
You've more patience than me, but I'm curious how muchOne last job, when all is dry and hard is to just sink back the Jaw C/sunk holes to take the new style screws.
What's to stop someone pulling the bolt and pushing the gate open or is the lock one that hooks over a bar in the keeper ?Fitted these yesterday.
They are all 20mm square and 50x10 flat with 80mm posts. lockinox forty lock.
Bit worried with what i was going to find digging the post holes but they were easy and took about 5 mins each to dig.

Thanks for the detailed reply, keep up the posts showing how you repair stuff it's interesting. All my working vices are in the bare castings, well not standing the original paint what has not bean worked off.
The person I am repairing the record 23 for has asked for it to be painted and filled, not my choice. I liked the bare finish I had previously restored it to.
