Time is moneyI'm just thinking what the farmers around here would try, they'd have a round bale on each spike and two more balanced on top for good measure

Another axe shaft, though this is stil under development, but it's getting close. I chopped of some more of the bottom of the shaft, it was too fat.
But I didn't mind parting good money for this.

World War 1 British 18pounder shell case, cut down and decorated with "Trench" or "Prisoner" art. There is a bit of detail, but the word does say "France"
There is a lot of historic damage, I think it was flattened at one point and restored round again.

I plan to tidy up, keep the historic damage and details. I may "Re Dot" some of the art work. But nothing to drastic.
How did Mrs TYA take this?
Very well, as we are tracing her family History and this may be linked to a Great Great Grand father life or his family.
That's because you need a tester that puts a proper load on the battery such as the old Frankenstein type like this...when used with a battery tester below, it would indicate that they are perfectly fine

Knocked this up; a 12V distribution panel for radio gear, out of an old PC PSU case and a bit o' ply or two.

Humph. Only thing is, the bleedin' combined ammeter / voltmeter just sulks and refuses to do anything.
I've a feeling it's knackered, so will replace it with a pair of proper gauges.
Had anyone got a good guide to re handling tools like hammers, I never seem to get it right and they come loose after a while.
I kept removing material and slimming the handle, feels better in the hand now:
