I was considering trying that as a stop gap.

Would have been better if it was my toes, the boots wouldn't have noticed it. Then again knowing my luck it would have hit just above the end of the steel toecap.

Or crushed the steel toecap, trapping your toes in the boot.

Well I would be very unhappy with the boot makers if a few Kg of brass crushed them.

I welded my hip joint to the shifter today, seemed to work okay. Vitallium to mild steel using normal Mig.

Uuuuuuunluckly. I wore trainers at work a couple of weeks ago. A screwdriver rolled off a wing and hit my bigtoe, pointy end down, eey did I laugh

Oy, amalg isn't bodgers tape. Insulation tape's for bodging.

Another one I'm just knocking of the never-seen list is The Gumball Rally. I'm quite enjoying the classic machines being hammered. They weren't particularly classic when it was made, though.

Been organising things a bit. I now have a newly built sewing machine table, and leather hide storage underneath I also put together a cutting table, so I’m not having to cut hides by crawling about the floor anymore (my knees are thanking me as I type).

Sorry, no welders, or bfh in sight, and I’ve tried to tone down the girly look. But I left in the wine racks, for when one’s nerves need settling.

freind of mine makes own brew cider and instead of bottling it he sticks it in booze bags.
he struggles to fit the bag tap after filling them so asked if i could mod a pair of pliers to be able to squeeze the tap into the bag.

They were promised a tree house but we couldn't find a decent place for one so I've made them a house in the trees!

Love it. A big cheap camo net draped round the bottom might be good?

Taking our "tree" house down soon I think. The house bit up top is only 10'x5' - should have made it double that! Another boat missed. Would get more use out of a decent garden / rumpus room now:

Bit of overkill.
I just bevel them with a diamond blade in a 4" grinder. Takes ten seconds.
