Fitted these Transit pick up twin wheel mudguards to the atv meal snacker at my mates Farm today. Just need to fit long mudflaps to the quad now and the mud should be kept in check a bit better!

Also added a tow ball to attach a small trailer on at lambing time to save running back to the yard when feeding/checking the sheep if anything needs bringing back to the sheds.

I have done that before, problem may be holding the chuck from rotating. On my lathe I just put it in the lowest gear and that was enough, might not be enough on the ML10 so you may have to try and lock some other way..

Two wooden sticks wedged under a jaw each side would do the job well enough, or even just one wedge between the chuck and the bed.

kawasaki zx10 mudguard for a guy at work (who also as a 60's triumph tiger 100) original had broke in two so due to my helpful nature(!) i volunteered to try and make a replacement

before going any further on the rear half the front piece was given to the owner for trial fitting

will get another test fit before final welding, filler skim and paint. thanks for looking

Seems to be a common failure point. Mine cracked in exactly the same placed. I didn't let it get that far though.

Just finished the first of 10 steel targets and holders for our western shoots. Everything has to come apart and fold up as we have to lock everything away
Sorry there's no mug but the plate is 300 x 300mm.

The suspended plate is canted slightly backwards and when struck swings and deflects the bullet fragments towards the ground.It provides audible feedback of hits. The plate has two hangers so it can be hung as a diamond or a square
A scrappy donated the plate but it was too thin so I had to weld two together. Also he flame cut them so the edges are very ragged. Probably when I make the others I will trim the edges up with the plasma.

Like, but I would suggest you need to plate the feet, otherwise you will be filling the tubes with tarmac in summer.certainly look nice and stable.
