Yeah the tubes will be capped but haven't cut the discs yetLike, but I would suggest you need to plate the feet, otherwise you will be filling the tubes with tarmac in summer.certainly look nice and stable.

Excellent work MK is that a JD2 tube notcher?
I used this .a combination of bits I had .Nice job of folding that, did you use a hand bender?
It's 1mm plate. As long as you have a good thickness top bar it's OK. Got to make a fuel cell mounting box next. Same material. Same method. 1mm 1.5 is about max. Any thicker then serious weight and force is needed...Utilised, very impressive.
Jd2 notch master
Pretty good but definitely needs the swag off-road "reach around" to make it a little more versatile for some higher angle cuts
I have the jd2 model 32 bender as well that I got from STAKESYS metal work, very good gear, expensive but you get what you pay for I think
I always work centre out.I have lines marked out on the round tube to make sure it's square. Have got to make another one that sits under the main tunnel as a reinforced plate.set up as is the flat top bar clamping down could be persuded with a tap from a copper mallet, work from centre out wards, so to make sure its set home so to speak.love that ,using whats to hand
Appreciated thanks...just a thought if you need to do a thicker one might need some "help" to get it just so.
Am not sure if to use 1mm or 1.5 for the strengthening plate ?Have not made it yet as need more materials. But marked out where the wishbone to floor pan/ bulkhead strengthening plate will attach to.View attachment 103435
