Had a bad "off" with my mountain bike many many years ago while on a camping holiday which resulted in loosing a fair bit of skin, the worst was my balls lost some skin. Now obviously you can't stick a plaster on them and the only thing to hand I had that would clean and dry up the wound was... aftershave.
Yes it did sting.

Cheers for that. I got a similar level of sympathy from my mate who was with me on that holiday, he was crying more than me but his was with laughter.You deserved the pain if you intentionally applied it.
The trouble was, it was a sticky oozing mess that kept sticking to the other skinned bits and then pulling off when I moved and that was bloody painful, I had to somehow get it to stop sticking to other bits. It was the best idea I had at the time although as soon as I splashed the aftershave on I changed my mind on that, within a few days I wasn't walking like John Wayne anymore.

Not technically me, but i was supervising...
Prepared the blank for this yesterday, then after football practice and watching Johnny English this afternoon, he's finished his first pen, his chosen body and blank. Bit nervous of the chisels, so a bit of help wielding them, otherwise all his own work.
Might be a bit keener to do some handwriting practice now!

Lovely work, my only suggestion would be to get them sleeves rolled up. It's unlikely but I still wouldn't fancy catching a cuff on a chuck or workpiece
