Just cut the keyway in the shaft I made last night, first pics show the Haimer being used to make sure the taper is true to Z Axis.
Then a couple of pics of the progress and fitted key. Key is actually scrap in my opinion as it is now mostly copper instead of brass but they don't want another made

I take it with all those different drill heads you just select what one you need depending on what your doing..It is a Chiron FZ12S, almost 30 years old and has some wear in it but still an amazing machine even by today's standards.

Gurt big drain lid we are making to cover a catch pit, truckists may drive over it so its a bit beefy. 4`6" in diameter and grid is 50mmx20mm bar on edge with 10mm spacing pieces set in a 12mm frame. Just the lifting lugs to go on now, its kineavy.
