.64 mm. Horrible stuff22swg,so whats that in metric? .8mm?
Yer definitely. ..am good to go with welding it...I will make all the other bits I need to make then spend a day tacking and welding ....thats when you need something down to 20 amp start and .6 wire..
everyone should make a few things by hand sawing and filing instead of just getting a machine to do stuff . not much skill in iti made this tool out of 4mm sheet mild steel and a square hole to fit the stupid 15mm square plug in my datsuns gearbox.
getting the hang of filing these square holes now
Yes..I am hoping so. Am getting it close...just making the corners and see how it looks. Some gentle persuasion with a hammer and dolly will level that out.
Just ordinary unleaded fuel..nothing fancy..very nice what kinda fuel goes in those
fancy tank for unfancy fuel lolJust ordinary unleaded fuel..nothing fancy..
Yes lol... it's just a better looking way of doing things . Better than the original plastic item that gets in the way of everything...fancy tank for unfancy fuel lol
But in my haste to use there machine and my marking out...I forgot to take in consideration the material thickness and over shot the end panels.....dam !!!!View attachment 104357
Totally rookie mistake..I had it in my mind to allow for material thickness. But was kind of like a kid in a sweet shop..all that machinery everywhere. But I had never used a huge metal folder..but glad for the experience.Rookie mistake...
You would be better off keeping the flanges level at the top to keep every thing flat and dressing the bottom corner to make it fit, these kind of boxes often need a tap here and there as part of the fitting up
