It was a standard 3mm ball nose cutter that I ground tapered. Not to cut tapered, but to clear as it would only go down 6mm and I needed 6,35, so I backed it off. The angle of the tooth profile was sorted by rotating the part and offsetting the cutter.
You can buy tapered ballnose cutters of the shelf. Look for die sinking cutters. MSC stocks the accupro ones in various angles
