A pile of 150x100x10mm channel, 100x50 box, 50x20 flat and various other bits of scrap converted into a draw bar/early risers for the fifth wheel on the mini artic. Twas tacked up and taken off for welding, it will be a miracle if it fits and has not pulled. Report back tomorrow when its on

On the motorway I saw a full size artic low loader with just one of those tiny micro diggers on the back!

A lot more welding this time! Battery earth cable to chassis tube. M4 screw into double sheet thickness threaded hole. Last ones I made were for brake pipes on the opposite side but I spot welded stainless petrol pipe clips to those.

When I went to Cornwall a couple of weeks ago, on the A30 the other side of Okehampton there was a Erde or similar camping trailer at the side of the road loaded about 5 foot high with scaffold towers. The poor little trailer was so overloaded the drawbar and collapsed & the front of the trailer was on the ground. There were 2 men there furiously stuffing the tower sections into the back of the towing van. The van looked already half full, so who knows what was originally on the trailer.Same here. @8ob can you please get a pic of that rig towing an Erde121. That would be so funny.
