well i forgot to say the tool worked it took 2 of us and a 6" bar through the handle nothing broke and the water was turner off

nice idea; just remember to treat it, wth whatever you use.....

i've just had to replace a garage side door & frame, because the tennant stored all his fire wood against the door. The termites from the firewood had a rare time eating through the frame. door wasn't as bad though.. fire wood isn't ncessarily the best thing to store against good quality wood. all sorts of nasties in it.

Finished this today, well, I say this, I bought the blade as I wouldn't be able to produce something like that in a million years. Stainless Damascus with my nephews name engraved on it for his naming day ceremony this weekend. Nice piece of bog oak for the handle. Considering the blade turned up on monday and I was on night shift I'm happy to have actually done it in time for the weekend.

Please excuse the messy table, haven't tidied yet! Must do that before she gets home from work and we head down the road :ashamed:

Some info signs & benches I made 2 years ago,finally got around to photographing them,they've been laying in the contractors yard a while,anyway they're from CORTEN steel was told by my supplier they have a corrosion rate of 1mm/160 years.for those in the area they are sited at the highest point of the new heads of the valleys road near Ebbw vale.

Time must fly by up here, my container was new about 10 years ago and it certainly has more than 1mm of rust in places

Granted it is right by the sea and is constantly getting covered in spray and also often waves when the weather is a bit stormy.

Made a couple of monitor stands for the Olex system that will be on the 10m Cheetah Cat I am fitting out at the moment. The normal stands flop about in heavy weather so all the boats get me to make fixed Alu ones, just the angles are different depending on position in the boat.
Also made a start on the better wheeled base for the EWM Mig I recently got.
Stands made from 5mm 5083 and EWM trolley is 8mm and 5mm 5083.
