They look a nightmare to fold.20 of these awkward shaped troughs...10 left and 10 right hand.

Only since I bought a welder from a fishy fellow from down south.
Not too bad to be honest. One side is welded on to make life much easier. Nice little corner joint in 3mm.They look a nightmare to fold.
I love it, handles like a sports car, accelerates pretty good and great carrying capacity, only downside is it drinks like a fish
I can quite imagine, I have the same shape as yours but as the Outback.
I've also a mk3 Legacy with a knackered clutch currently being attacked/ surrounded by the lawn :P
Outbacks a 2.5, Legacy is a 2.0. Both have hi-lo transfer box though.
Scoobies are great aren't they?

Lots of them round this way but they are usually corrugated tin.View attachment 109727 To day I made this, no metal was used except screws...all recycled plastic. Its a pig arc, for our next foray into home grown.
Like that a lot addjunkie, some friends of ours have started a pig sanctuary (for myself I'd be looking for a bigger freezer!) but they take in pigs that were bought as pets but have outgrown their situation. Currently they've got 17. Housing is an issue and they're concerned to keep them as well as they can (and as economically as far as building materials are concerned)
If you don't mind me asking what were the materials used in yours and where did you source them? I guess it was a lot cheaper than the conventional arks, which seem to come in at £350 plus.
Great job and looks good too.
Not my favourite place however. I'm 3 for 3 on picking up nails in trailer tyres on visits there
We have the big freezer, and will have more hebridean lamb in it at the weekend. The pigs are Tamworth weaners to be fattened, the plan is to contain them with electric fencing. Hopfully they will eat all the weeds, and rough grass, so we then reseed once they are moved. I suspect they will be alot less hassel than sheep, so we may breed some next year.
The arc is made from https://www.solwayrecycling.co.uk/agricultural/stokbord
I used 12mm and 6 mm for the curved top. Wasnt as cheap as ply or stirling board, but longevity will be better. Could have used corrugated tin, but not much difference price wise.
Solway recycling dont make the board. So I suspect there will be other suppliers, just a case of finding them, possibly cheaper.
