You not thinking of making a turret for that AlphaEventually got around to making some extensions for some boring heads I have. All needed for a job I am currently doing. Silly size bores like 30,15mm , roughly 170mm down from the top of the part. Need to make a long threadmilling holder next. View attachment 211779 View attachment 211780 View attachment 211781

I knew your new(to you ) one had but thought that was also yours. You got the new one up and running yet?Nope. Not my lathe. At a friends place who I subcontract for. Besides, my lathe has a turret and a tool changer
Not yet . It’s in a unit that was leased by a friend. We have a gentleman’s agreement that I will take over the lease and move in once he has moved out. Had hoped for a January start, but it over ran. Not really an issue. It’s a good friend and I didn’t want to pile undue pressure on him to clear it. He also has a business to run. I signed the lease last week. Take over from March. Want to put up a mezzanine floor first .So will still be awhile.I knew your new(to you ) one had but thought that was also yours. Unlike modern tools that require three double-jointed hands to operate - of course they're safe, nobody can get them switched on.
