Any idea what this is... the blue frame construction hanging up. I'm just painting it, but when finished it'll sit on the ground with 3 castors. There's a big clue in the background.

It would be filled with mineGood morning gents.
We should make up a separate post 'exemploraryryy' welding. I am sure we all have examples that we can be proud off (not)
We are being badly affected by cold weather
Gah totally swamped with work so been off radar two days - PM incoming Rob, with files attached hopefully! With the invaluable help of eSCHEn I have been making progress with etching logos onto ali sheet. I tried salt water and a battery, Sodium Persulphate and Ferric Chloride. Some people are selling the Persulphate as "Ferric Chloride" without mentioning that it doesn't contain any at all. Bit of a con on Ebay?
Anyway, my first real try with the Ferric Chloride and a sheet of Ali with a Fablon 'mask' went well. 5 minutes of soaking and scrubbing...View attachment 112273
eSCHEn has also done some graphics for me so I can etch some new badges for the radiator.
Thats not something you see every day!......... Some one complaining of it being cold in Australia
^^ Don't the SAS use house bricks?
