If you do put it on a lathe, you may have to cut the added wire or you'll be taking 6mm off the diameter instead of 3mm

Love a tidy patch panel. Re did one at my previous job. No before unfortunately, colour coded, red for phones blue for PC's and an odd green for a machine connection.Started on upgrading security and tidying my network kit.

Still a bit more to do, I have to do a similar job under the stairs where all the house network kit resides. Then I shall make off all the cables to length, blue for networks, red for temperature sensors for the heating controls.
