How many work?
How many work?
Johnstone's Flortred in "Princess grey". A thick epoxy based paint would probably be better, the "Before" picture is about five years after I last did it but it's had all sorts of cast iron, solvent and chemical abuse so it didn't hold up too badly. What paint did you use ?
I still wish Bosch would get off their backside & make a 12V SDS. Pretty much the last tool I want, & they don't make one. All the other brands do.
Would like to try one with a 25 mm drill in granite
You can have all ten of Matt's 12v batteries for the price of the big flexvolt battery though. But then you wouldn't run a mitre saw or a massive SDS drill on those little toy batteries either.Eventually il move over to flexvolt was about to pull the trigger on the big mitre saw when covid kicked off so I left the 1200 odd quid in the bank

Put an SDS chuck on and use the battery drill on hammer ?All of them. Tend to find it's better, from a cost viewpoint overall, to buy the kits, a lot of the time. The 2 10.8V badged ones were a charger, battery combo I got initially. The others have come as part of full kits.

Brings back memories! I've still got the odd tool or two from my GPO days, I'll have to dig them out.Today I made my ex PO insulation tester work again.
I've had it over 30 years and the last time I went to use it, it didn’t work.
The battery clips were rotted with leaked battery acid.
All back together and should work for another 30 years.

Were they the ones with yellow plastic grips or the earlier ones with no grips? I have both and they still work fine I must admit, the quality of the tools were usually very good.My dad still has his maun side cutters which are still sharp. Dated 1967 about the time he started.
