The handles arrived for my tool chest, so I fitted them.
Even though the chest will probably sit somewhere on my work bench, I decided to add a set of castors.
Still to fill and sand before painting/varnishing. I like the look of it now, but I think the wood will swell if I leave it untreated.

Hi, how many holes can you drill on a single charge with the Milwaukee ?
They say 40 No 18 dia in 10mm plate, but that's just the sales pitch

With a brushless motor tool and a 5ah battery it would not surprise me, they are a serious tool.

I'm running a Metabo 28v mag drill with 3 ah batteries at the moment. Can get around 16 18 dia holes in 10mm plate per charge.

Having used one it's possible. I did a lot of masonry drilling with the one I borrowed and it kept going and going.

I did 20 holes, dia 16mm in 8 mm steel, on the first battery. Second died just about the first got fully charged. New rotabest drill was used.

I use the Metabo cutting grease when I'm drilling. Nice big splodge on the steel just before drilling, and it goes through it like butter.
I think I've drilled around 200 holes with the same cutter and it's still sharp

Got some more done to the plasma build today.
55 slats cut, 110 spacers cut, angle support welded in place and then the spacers welded and the slats fitted. Still need to put a middle rail support in with spacers then I should be close to trying it out.
