Good morning gents. Not just today but the last two days. Back on the farm and it's cold. 10.00 am yesterday toilet wasn't flushing properly, noticed ice crystals floating in the systern, was -5 this morning and it's frost on the ground at 7.00pm. Anyway new toy 'Elsa' arrived last week so had to go and play with her.
Small Cat loader bottom quick hitch bushes were non existent. Quick hitch dismantled, boom arms bored, welded and bored to final size
Had to cut this out with a 9" grinder. Now it's just to get the two pieces out that are seized. Got two vids of 'Elsa' operating but can't get it on here, must be doing something wrong, will try tomorrow. Also have to get the articulating joint out as also stuffed, now that seem to be very interesting

Did my back in on Sunday, just turned the wrong way and tore a muscle 
Anyway not being able to do anything real I have at least managed to design the new welder wall bracket with integrated cooler, whether it will turn out like the pic is another matter

So would I, but that was supplied by the customer, I've drilled the lock holes so that they will also take a disclock.

We share our archery field with a clay pigeon shooting club, Out in the country so a bit remote,We don't leave any gear there at all, Gun club has being done a few times,Including a nearly new Kubota tractor, All their equipment, Grass cutter, clay traps, Thousands of clays and big 12v batteries for the traps, All stored in well barred and locked shipping containers, The thieving scrotes must have turned up with a petrol stihl saw and 12"cutting discs and put a few nice picture windows in the sides, and helped themselves to everything,

Our local village cricket club's been done a few times, they always seem keen on any ground keeping machinery they think might be stored in the shed.
It's a brick built with a tile roof and it's been made fairly impregnable from the ground, so their last efforts involved taking tiles off the roof, cutting through roof battens and dropping down into it, I don't suppose it occurred to them that if they weren't going to be able to get in from the outside, getting out from the inside might be equally as challenging.
In fact as challenging as lifting a gang mower, large ride on cylinder mower or a diesel engined heavy roller out of the roof.
Still had the repair though, just fortunate they didn't vandalise the gear out of spite, they've done that before.
Aggro always seems to coincidence with visits from communities enjoying an alternative lifestyle where no permanent place of abode is involved.
Just a coincidence I suspect.

Been blighted with them recently and a spate of van break ins funnily enough.
Knock on the door last night. . "Delivery for you. " no box. Walked out with him and he swung the doors open. Wanna buy a generator. "No use to me bud. Then proceeded to offer me chainsaws and drills. Reg noted and police informed. I don't buy knocked tools. Shame people do. If they had no way of moving them on....
Finished this today. Shame about the MDF but that was there budget. All being glossed anyway.

I had a chap walk up my drive asking if I would like to buy a Generator a couple of weeks back , emailed local plod with description and van reg, tinkers in the area they told me , moved on now.That's in Cornwallm

I've not started "making" this yet but the pile of bits needed to make my first little aluminium boat arrived this week.
All 3mm marine grade and not an awful lot of it so hopefully it shouldn't take me too long.
I might well start a project thread if I remember to take enough photos.
All the fold lines and weld locations come pre marked which is nice, got 3 pieces that need folding so tapping up one of my local sheetmetal badgers will be my first job.
