Interesting ,101.75 litres of extra-virgin, organic, cold-pressed olive oil. Well not all today. We may do more if there is not too much rain next week. This week we have been helping others in the village with their olives and a run out to the press to collect our second batch of oil. Pic is the last two trees being picked on Álvaro's land neighbouring ours. The queue for the press took 7.5 hours after a 1.5 hour drive to get to a cold press where we could get our own oil from our own olives. I'm seeing an olive press construction project in my future.

Robin hood 2b. early one, used to have the sliding pillar suspension. I built my own wishbones. Used to be pinto, now duratec on throttle bodiesWhat model is your 'toy car' !
In Spain they commonly use shakers but you have to plant in regular rows to use them and need rain before you can harvest with them or you damage the trees. Personally, I think it is disrespectful to the trees. Many use mechanical fingers run off a 12v car battery but they are generally noisy and throw olives everywhere except on the nets. The noisy ones also knock off leaves and twigs, by volume probably about equal to the volume of olives, which makes it harder to clean the olives.Interesting ,
Can you get hydraulic olive tree shaker attachments similar to an almond nut shaker etc for a small tractor to save the ladder work & time or does it always have to be hand picked off ladders for the taller trees ?
Here you go, first test run, needs a little tweak here and there but that will only take a few moments. It usually takes a couple of goes to get it looking right.Do you sell them feller? And do you have a goldfinch one

View attachment 319695Bar is 20mm dia, 250mm long but listed as upto 5D. Im unsure if that means 5*D stickout or, deep in a part, but I felt it should be tried full length 9D, 180mm 1mm off diameter cut. There was some chatter but it did well!

It was more sensible at 120mm stickout.
Near final size now but wasnt happy with cordless feeding and it needs another cut.
You *really need to stick a pair of old boots out of the bottom of that before you leave it outJust recovering after some serious mattress action with my wife.
There was grunting, several positions. She even reached between my legs.
Also rope and knots. Hell, even scissors made an appearance. We also considered duct tape at one stage.
We had to make a rolled up mattress as Fife Council won't take away the old one unless exactly that.
