Two of these:

for grinding tungsten points on a Dremel with one of these diamond discs.

It uses a standard collet so copes with different tungsten sizes (although I pretty much only use 2.4 mm ones to be honest).

The first one I printed was from thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4730025), but after printing it I realised that the hole sizes had been designed for (presumably) WP17 collets and I only have WP9 ones, so I modified the design and printed a new version.

I'll stick a post on the Freebies forum in case anyone wants the WP17 one for the cost of postage.

Printed off some bits for the mill.

Fine feed wheel, knobbly selector thing and droopy lever ball:

Black stuff is PLA extrusion, grey stuff is SLA.

Now I just need to print something to clean up all the swarf and stuff I've made.

Just bought myself a second mars2 resin printer.
Maybe not the best on the market, but it was cheap enough at 60 quid, including 2x500g of resin -
plus I already have plenty of spares, and all my models are already optimised for it.

First job for it to print all the bits I need to (hopefully) get the anet a8 FDM printer usable, then all three will be going full time into paying the bills...

tbh, I'm just about sick to death of FDM - I've _never_ managed to get a decent print with it. unlike resin printing where I've only had _one_ failure - and that was user error.
it might be up for sale, soon, to put towards another mars (or even a saturn)

Maybe not the best on the market, but it was cheap enough at 60 quid, including 2x500g of resin -
plus I already have plenty of spares, and all my models are already optimised for it.

First job for it to print all the bits I need to (hopefully) get the anet a8 FDM printer usable, then all three will be going full time into paying the bills...

Yes. Clean up isnt onerous:
5 mins "drip time" on the machine.
Swish in meths.
10 mins in ultrasonic cleaner (I use flash floor cleaner)
Cut off supports.
Leave in full sun for an hour or so, turning a couple of times.

Plus, a rough guess, based on the attempts I've made with FDM: it's twice as fast to actually print.
And I don't actually think it's that much more expensive: by the time I've figured in failed prints.

I use both FDM (Prusa MK3s) and resin (Elegoo Saturn with Jupiter on the way) and to be honest I need both. FDM I primarily use for functional objects and the resin for decorative or low stress/wear parts. I've yet to find a resin that could replace ABS/PETG/Nylon etc.

Clean-up using the Mercury X system is fine, just takes a few minutes and barely any need to come into contact with wet resin and with the correct support design they just snap off with minimal surface damage/cleanup.
