It was a combination of too high a temp (210) and not enough retraction for the long Bowden on the E5.

It's part of a mould.... there's a high chance it won't work so didn't bother sharing too many details.

I drew up some inserts for the aluminium extrusion of our greenhouse door, designed to hold bubble wrap to the sliding door something that has been done with cloths pegs in the past but at least one of them would fall off every other time the door was opened. The unistrut zeb like parts are all my own work, the knob heads are from a SCAD table. All printed in ABS to withstand the heat and cold cycles in the greenhouse nothing exciting but the first time I have gone from idea to form without downloading the design.

Nylon 66 blend is worth a try otherwise. I have a roll of Overture Easy Nylon that you could borrow to make that.Worm gear for my bandsaw next to the rather destroyed original
A quick fit shows it fits ok but I'll have to wait until I can put it back together to see if it's up to the job. Printed in abs 0.8mm nozzle.

I have discovered cubic as an infill style. For me it cuts an hour off large prints. This one was 11.5 hours and after changing the infill is 10.5 hours.

I have no idea. It was printing fine, put a new reel in and this happened.
It has annoyed me somewhat as I don't know why.

The clue will be where it has oozed from. It will take a bit of cleaning up. If you cant break / cut most away, I would put it into the oven and soften it enough to pull away.

Looks like a typical issue with the bowden tube adaptor.
Here is the fix: #16
TLDR: fit a short length of perfectly fitting bowden tube into the hot end before connecting it up...

I have ordered a direct extruder, it sorted the problems on the E3 so hopefully it will help with the E5.
