If its only 160A and you dont use flat out a lot, why not get a WP9, which is the same size as a 20 but air-cooled? Not really any great need for water-cooling for occasional low amp use.

Did that come off the bottom of the old transtig/aristo Tig. They were great machines in the day.

Looks a bargain Hugh, and probably pretty well made. I have a place that installs cellar equipment not far from me, and I might get hold of a used beer cooler, and see if a budget cooler build is feasible.

Sure did Richard, it came attached to a duff transtig 250i which I gutted for parts (dinse sockets, screws, gas solenoid, rectifiers, fans etc). It has a 230v motor in, but had a 400-230 transformer inside as it was fed from the 415 feed in the welder.
The welder was a very clever build with an airflow tunnel design inside, fan at one end of a long tube.

They were great machines and still plenty about now putting out the goods. I also was told really good on sticks too. Good little cooler you got there. Have you had it running yet.

Those beer chillers have really nice exchangers in them add a tank and adapt the fittings for the torch and your home and dry. Not too portable though iirc. Wouldn't be much use to me personally.

Removed the transformer, put 230v into the wiring harness, fitted a knob to the on/off switch - it fired right up. The fan wasn't working, turns out the 'service engineer' who fitted a new pump in 2011 miss-wired the fan feed, fixed that - it's now 100% operational

Last cooler I made used all major parts from beer cooler, mounted on Ebay gastronorm which provided tank. Obviously less portable than coolers using tiny diaphragm pump, but for site work air cooled is probably better anyway?

It sure is, along with that ck superflex wp-18 I got for 99 quid the other night on ebay... I was confuddled when I said I had a miller cooler as well, I blame long haul flights and lack of sleep, the Murex one is the only one I have, aside from my old gallon bucket and gear pump arrangement that goes with the christmas-tree set.
