No such thing as overkill on an air tank unless weight is a factor, the stronger the longer it'll last in the case of steel tanks. On these ones it's just nice

Today I acquired a wasp sting (thought I'd managed to get through that part of the year unscathed !!) Little bleeder was dozing in the log pile - picked a few up and took them in the house where he decided to wake up and inflict some waspish nastiness on me.

It's now a cremated wasp...

I do like Starrett hole saws and arbours and have used them for 20 plus years but recently I have discovered the Bosch power change ones and they are brilliant as you don't need to struggle when the cutter has tightened itself up after long term use, you just pull back the clip and swap out the blade.

Is it just me that gets a strange sastifaction that cant be explained when screwing a starret onto the arbour and the 2 holes line up when your at the end of the thread instead of trying then to find them before you push down

u can put a new edge on them with a dremmel providing no teeth missing and there's still some set on them hardly worth it though

Yep, ive got a little jig that I set up on the drill press with an abrasive ŵheel,cutter spinning in the chuck, works a treat

I've been given a fritzed robot lawnmower; it's a cheapnese one rather than a brand name and a squirrel has used it as a nest, so there are a million beechnut husks inside the casing, ominous signs of water ingress, a seized castor and unpleasant grinding noises when one of the drive wheels is turned; wish me luck.

Norbert, yes the coffee mug killer, was at a jumble sale over the weekend.

Brought me this box, £1.

It was locked, he thought I could pick the locks, or rummage in my old keys to find a key.

He thought it would make a nice stowage box.


It didn’t.

Any one guess what was in the box?
