Box and pallet went to my neighbour who helped me move the box contents.
Bloody cold though, although forecast is for possibility of temps reaching double figure by the weekend. Nice though.

Whether she needs it or not?
Mine isn't really ready to go yet - a few bolts, some electrolysis and ultrasonic cleaning + general adjusting and 'fettling' - I'm going to take my time and enjoy the process.

No, I used to have an RandA which I sold to upgrade to the Myford, like this example on Lathes&Co but not in such good condition
It served its purpose though, just not as capable as this one'll be.

I can feel a long-suppressed urge to get turning bits of metal.
I mean, it's not as if I really need any more bits of machinery or have endless hours available.
Damn, I used to enjoy it, when they (BS, etc) trained me a bit in it (just enough to not be dangerous).
Mind you, that's about the last time I actually touched a lathe, so I'd probably be quite dangerous again by now.
