Just some random information.

The factory where those switches were made was at the end of the road I lived at in hounslow. It was knocked down about 20 years ago, there now stands some horrible flats

This old girl, needs a new xmember and a a bit of attention on the bulkhead, but I've genuinely mot'd worse. Under the moss she's mint, not a mark on the panels anywhere, no dints or anythig

Jings, I recall when they came out and I wanted one quite badly, as I'd been a SII and IIa user /owner for a while at that point.
Now, they're old wrecks left mouldering under trees.
Ho-hum...

Oh, and forgot to mention I got a local chap to angle-grind the side out of a washing machine he was just about to take to the scrapy - I think I'll be able to 'construct' a splashback for the Myford with it.

Free too.

scored nice new 250mm tct wood circular saw blade for 14 quid. a new caulk gun a quid and a nice english made bolster chisel for a quid at autojumble

It was actually loaded into the back of his wagon and a side was the only panel easily accessed, no room to free any others to gain access to screws/bolts etc, so grinder it was.

It was on a tiny Rd called Inverness Rd, just off the Cromwell Rd by the chippy. Sadly knocked down and turned into Flats.

Williams Dye works on the Hanworth Rd demolished about 25 years ago and Autoclean and Beldam Asbestos on the Staines Rd (close to the Wellington Rd) demolished just last year and Hollygrove works also on Staines Rd flattened about 20 ish years ago

But Since August last year I have bean "Acquiring" tools and equipment for my Local Men In Sheds.

I worked in and around Hounslow and visited it when I was a kid as my grandparents lived in southall sounds like theres nothing left ,I worked Isleworth and occasionaly worked in my employers branches in staines road and bridge road , you may know them as a chain of ford dealerships who were "very nice people to do business with"
