Yes more drawers, first a nice little 24 drawer unit, it appears to come from the sewing department of a college

Some drawers have contents, not much use to me apart from the spanners.

Pin spanners are always useful

Next, a nice little set of drawers that I though would be perfect for my marking up gear, callipers, marking gauges etc.

This has some contents too

And finally, another 54 drawer unit, I now have more drawers than an Anne Summers house party

York 80 Vice came out first. As it was in the middle and she could not lift it.

Seems a nicely made bit of kit.

Be interesting to see the rigidity in that vice once all nipped up and mounted on the table..looks very useful for stuff you cant hold square in the jaws and can then be indexed flat or vertical

These vices lock up very well. You can see the precision tapers in the photo below, which is also of a Jones and Shipman universal vice.

I find the original grey with a tiny green tinge quite pleasant ... if paint at all, maybe support that gray with a touch of a light lime green?!??

The Brits had the Eager beaver all terrain fork lift 4x4 in 1975/76 it was a good bit of kit , fork lift & extending boom to lift ammo , engines , missiles etc up onto the building platforms rather than pick up the load from above , lift the load & lower it also kept the visible height down , Can't readily recall the speed but IIRC it was in the region of 45mph without a load on the forks

The Eager Beaver meant it had a much lower centre of gravity , Mk 1's didn't come with a cab , driving one in some serious foul weather gear, crash helmet and goggles was hell when it was minus 12 oC . Due to the light weight and small size it was air portable and parachutable.
