That won't do Ali.Anyway,is it worth getting the kit, stuff to see if it tig welds ok or not?
I'm fortunate that I've got a reg.
Probably can buy a cheap bottle and get a deal on gas.
I have never done any tig, just wanted to play around with it and maybe if I got a bit proficient be able to patch up the odd rusty screw hole in the van floor.
Also would like to mess about with Ali.. I have access to loads of scrap in work so practice and materials not a problem.
I did notice that in the brief time using it as arc I could get welds that didn't blow through thin stuff.
Would this on low work on car panels?
It was only fifty quid so happy anyway.
Oh yeah and the lathe is new as well.
More megapixels, more better. One of my favourite things to do on a day out is watch someone take a picture with their shiny new DSLR, then look at the screen with disappointment on their face
