Yep. There’s a crap newer one with less than half the pistons, but that’s the old one. At the time it was worth buying just for the pistons and control boxes. I built a bank using the normal bricks and used a centralised pneumatic system to control all the doors.

Btw, the rear controls shouldn’t be linked by a bar like that. You’ll get much more flexibility with unlinking them. Idk if you made a fix for the front wheel suspension too - it’s a bit weak when you push on the pump. The chassis needs a bit of strengthening if you have spare bits.

They are linked that way for one reason.
When Mini Me was younger it was easier to use the No 10 axil to line up the levers to natural.

Lego did a recall for the week suspension, very rare kit. It didn't have a number. You had to contact Lego direct. (oddly in Slough, near the big Tesco, going west on the A4) and they sent you the upgrade.

Must admit whilst I’m not much of a fan of Lego anymore (despite being crazy about it aged 8) Technics has always held appeal. I got the monster 10 pump backhoe when I was 15 which is now rare, has a little crank engine and diff, steering rack and the challenge of controlling all the airflow. Terrific fun if you can dedicate the two hours it takes to assemble it.

We watch a show called "The toys that made us" on netflix it covers most of the bigger names, The Lego episode is quite good if you are into the little bricks.

Got hold of these today from a college that's getting demolished. They'll come in very handy for exhaust fume extraction in the workshop when I'm tuning up the bikes, might be able to slavage the bigger one to go over the welding bench I'm hoping to build!

It's Pymovent.
No fans as they were plumbed into a large extraction unit outside, the main ducts are about 400mm diameter. If I had more time I'd have removed some of the 80mm ducting as well but its riveted together and I needed to be in and out quick!
Still I can get metal ducting out of the skips on site at work or buy it reasonably cheaply. At least I have the mounting brackets for two of them.

These two, $10 the pair. Both are Crescent Tools, both 7”, but one has interesting pressed detail on the handle grips, which made me buy two of the same size. Both are seized shut, but I can soon have them moving again.

Snap!! I have these identical [almost] which belonged to my Dad - I still use them sometimes. They're marked "Elliott-Lucas Elect High Tensile Cannock England". A rough reckoning makes them at least 60 years old, but I can't say how long he'd had them

My Dad was never in NZ, so we can't be related.

I have a pair of 8” Elliott Lucas pliers, and a huge 9” pair of Wilkinson ones too. I will get these looking good then post some pictures of the family I have a lovely pair of angle nips made by Crescent, possibly one of my favourite tools I own. So small yet so well crafted.

I had a pair of those for years, belonged to my Dad, but some thieving scrote had them.
I came across a couple of them at an autojumble about 20 years ago and snapped them up. They were brand new, ex-stores from someplace, probably bought by the seller as a joblot. A quid each or something like that. I damn near snapped his hand off.

Well yesterday, really. I was having a mooch around Lidl as you do, but I DID genuinely need veggies .

Spotted some of this and thought I'd give it a try so bought a couple of bottles which a mate & I sampled this afternoon.



Actually very good & leans towards the IPA which we both prefer. I can't recall how much it was, but for all I drink, cost isn't really an issue & better that than some recycled urine you can get.

Would I buy it again? Ohhh, yes!! [supply your own Churchill dog voice here ]

I took a punt on a crate of stuff at an auction as there was some arctic flex in it in a tangled mess.

Once I had unraveled it I ended up with 14m of 1.5mm 3 core blue arctic cable, 5m of 2.5mm 3 core plus 4 13a double sockets.

In the base of the crate were lots of pipe hangers, exhaust clamps & M8x100 bolts.

Buried in the crate was a nice big Gordon whitworth spanner, a quality triangular file & a set of odd leg calipers. The calipers look like an apprentice piece but work perfectly. The marking pin was missing, a sharpened masonry nail cured that!

So not a bad result from a £4 investment!
