First pair done - old style jaws, and gripped handles. I’m thinking prewar on these as the handle pattern came in around 1915. The other pair need more work, the rust is more involved...

Not today, but yesterday. But I was distracted by my new bits.
First was a 3' X 2' X 2' cardboard box, it made a distractive noise. I knew what it was.
But I also got.

It isn't.
Yes. This is an Win XP laptop, with wireless mouse. It now does work. I chose the XP one as I need an older computer to run some programmes for work.
That's not all.
Another lap top, 2 year old Lenvo Win 10 unit. I got it as it did not power up. The "Fig 8" power lead into the Transformer had a broken live core. I had a few spares.
Oh yes a 3 TB external hard drive.

Bootsale find today was a motorised golf trolly, No battery so took a chance, Thought that the motor and speed control must come in handy for a rotator etc, robust looking motor too, All for the princely sum of £2-00

Today, after a long drive I acquired a Kennedy 90 model power hacksaw. A mistake was made regarding shipping, so I offered to meet the seller half way. I like a road trip. The seller gave me a tray full of tools to go with it, which was an unexpected surprise;an enjoyable trip for sure. The saw works quietly, and is smaller than I thought it would be, but I'm happy with the size and its light weight.

I just found out this Kennedy saw is kind of a rare item, and they don't come up for sale very often. I bid on it because it was shown on a light tripod stand, as I didn't want a large heavy cast iron unit for the minimum amount of use I'll need it for.

Today i took a Bosch GWS 18-230 from friend, it's works!!!
Was only a ball bearing as for my Hitachi grinder, so i replaced the armature rear bearing that i surprised that it's a 608Z, very little IMHO.
Now i can not upload a Photo because im at home and the grinder it's upstair and here is Hot about 34 celsius and 80% related hummidity, so later when it's colder ill go upstair for the Photo
