Picked up a Vax 121, that the cable had been twisted so badly on it had broken both the inner and outer insulation, for free.I got a near brand new Henry from a front garden recently. Yes,I did ask them before I took it. Broken mains lead at the end of the spool where it had been dragged around. A common fault.

It's an old motor, maybe the horses are smaller now, cos of inflation - waggon wheels certainly are.Same method here. I hadn't realised there was such a large disparity on input vs output either.
Looked at the plate on a 1/4 horse motor in the shed last night, and BS is spot on. 2.3A that one reads.

Well, this is junk.
Trips the breaker when plugged in to charge.
You can't win them all.
