It was a total melt down, so it was recycled this morning. The power pack was kept.

Todays car boot, slim picking and very quiet.
Something about football, I was told.

I am not very good at finding bargains, perhaps I look in the wrong places. 
Hence today I went to the Bromley Pageant for the first time in five years or so and it aint half the event it used to be the auto jumble is mostly stalls selling Chinese tat the likes of which you can but cheaper off ebay or Amazon, only three stalls had used tools. One stall was mostly Snap on, Blue Point and Mac, all unpriced and not what I am into, however on another stall I got these two:
A Brown and Sharp combination set which is in OK condition, the protractor bubble is bust and the scriber is missing, aren't they all but I can make a new scriber so that is ok and a nice but unnamed maker tap wrench for £40 the pair which in hind sign is perhaps not such a good deal.
On the other stall I got this.
A Shardlow Micrometers height gauge, the guy wanted £15 for it then said but I'll take £13, I pulled a bit of a face and he said oh ok a tenner. I think that was a better deal.

This will sound a bit funny, but next time you’re in a public toilet or an institution, see if you can open the toilet paper dispenser - they often have a little spirit level bubble inside which you can ‘acquire’. I have replaced three this way. A T shaped key can be made with some wire if you want to unlock the dispensers to have a look, it’s very easy.

I read the notification email on my phone in a crowded train, I did wonder where it was going after the second comma ...
Some of the TV wall mounts have spirit levels, which are not so good but I suspect that is the plastic enclosure that contains the vial that causes the inaccuracy.
I think I am safer robbing one of them and not going tooled up to the nearest pub loo. See even that sounds wrong.

Today i visited my scrappy mate & acquired four tig inverters for nowt, company he clears junked them as had bought new ones. Three stealth 180's & a GYS Tig 200 They were said to be working but that remains to be seen! all Torches & leads missing & all have their plugs chopped off. First two lit up ok when powered up.
Will have to borrow he torch off my portamig to test them. Fingers crossed!
If they are cooked they will go back in the scrap so nothing to lose by trying them.

Il have a closer look once the kids have gone up. Qr apparently worked when he bought it but doesn't now.
Good candidate for strip and paint.
Both my record No 3 just needed a quick wire wheel and lube but the paints flaking off this one.
