As in 4 speeds on the pulleys and a high/ low range? if so sounds a very useful drill, well worth fixing.Kerry super-eight.

Yep, that's it. Didn't know Q&S were the same company. The range selection seems seized, which doesn't surprise me. Previous owner probably didn't know what it was for, it's quite common with back gears! As in 4 speeds on the pulleys and a high/ low range? if so sounds a very useful drill, well worth fixing.

The look like the Halfords advance ones i have been thinking about getting.. I need an excuse for buying them lolPicked these up for a fair sum - $120. Think that’s a good deal though. They’re Gearwrench and have a lockable angle and ratchet on one end.

works like a normal ratchet, but the ratchet can also be driven by twisting the handle - via a 1/4" drive if neccessary.
£23 for the 1/2" size, and seems to have good reviews. We shall see.
Kerry super-eight.
Change of plans anyway. Hired this Beasty for the week. Can't argue for 250.How the heck are you going to get the transit in the footwell?

I miss my 04 convoy. 2.4 duratorq.I've not driven the new shape Crafter but i had a 2007 one and loved it. Always broken, and little noisy but enough torque to pull down a house. Basically a Sprinter and it was a great van. I recently rented an 18 plate LWB Transit and it was a very nice van and drove nicely (Not quite as nice as my work Transit Custom.) But felt a little flimsy. The rear doors flexed when slsmmed shut.
You can't beat a Sprinter for a big van. I'm on my second one now. Miss my old Sprinter, wish i never sold it.
Is that one of the non-woven type discs?
Seen one of these for sale and found this post doing a bit of research, what's the blade speed on one of these? I'm wondering if it's suitable for metal or is it a wood cutting saw onlyI'll dig them out of storage and get a picture or two.View attachment 168577
