Anti dive could be built into it with the correct geometry. It would be an added bonus with such low ground clearance under the engine sump.

I may make some sort of 'under frame' if it all looks a little low when all is finalised. There's several roads in my town with these stupid pyramid speed bumps all along them. Even a sump bash plate would have issues with a solid hit on one of them.Sump guard sorts that issue out

Walked back from the pub near my mates a week or so back and the pyramid bumps had loads of marks from sumps

I'd need a smaller master cylinder if only using one, but that looks like the sort of thing that would work.What about one of these with the master as well

I'm not sure if the calliper would be directional, and has some sort of 'stop' inside to prevent the pads being spat out if used back to front.
That would be the way to go, a little up and down button for when I get to rubbish roads and speed bumps.
I have a pair of Protec shocks at the rear but I'm not sure if the spring strength is enough. Maybe some small air bags could be added.

I came very close to buying a car caliper, some fancy aftermarket aluminium jobbie..... but at the last minute I realised that car calipers mount from the inside of the disc, not the outside, like bikes do. So I'd have no way to locate it, unless it was mounted inside out.

Some free advice, in the best possible spirit...I've just bought this very caliper, hopefully it will do the job.
I came very close to buying a car caliper, some fancy aftermarket aluminium jobbie..... but at the last minute I realised that car calipers mount from the inside of the disc, not the outside, like bikes do. So I'd have no way to locate it, unless it was mounted inside out.
Sell it and buy the Nissin equivalent 6-pot.
Those 6-pot Tokico are notorious for sticking, probably why it was removed.

Sticking? To what? They're fitted to a million Hyabusaii, and other bikes, so they can't be that bad.
I'm not sure, but it would be an expensive experiment to find out.
But there again, this whole project has been an expensive experiment.

Internally - they're chronic for pistons sticking.
According to everyone I know who's had a set of those, they are that bad, which is why they get removed and replaced with something decent that never sticks - Nissin.

It'll do for basic setting up and seeing if it all actually works, and if the day comes when it's actually on the road, then there's undoubtedly a direct upgrade replacement that would probably improve braking overall.

Can't really see a problem with it, so long as they're not differential piston sizes (and if they are just make sure you buy the right side caliper)

This arrived today, it's bigger than it looks, just hope it's worth the effort and cost, plus I need to get the disc made..... just to see if it even works..... I can squeeze a 350mm dia disc in there.

Come to think of it I had a visit from a fellow forum member, Roofman, last week. He told me exactly the same thing: Tokico calipers are rubbish. Brain lock, only just remembered that.
Anyway, out in the shed today experimenting. First thing, it was bloody freezing, so I cracked out the gas heater I bought a couple of years ago but have never used. Warm as toast in 10 minutes on the lowest setting. I've got 4" of insulation in the walls, door and roof, and a double glazed window.
I've tried the caliper out for size, looks like I can go to a 350mm diameter disc. I've started work making the pivot bracket that will float around the wheel spacer. Then I'll make another wood bracket to locate the caliper, then tie it to the rear fork leg. Maybe rose joints and 3/8" round bar. Or a good solid twig.
