The wood was salvaged wood, from a yard.

Drilling away, it snatched, twisted and bent.
Lucky enough a 3/8 flat bit allowed me to finish of the holes.
There’s a place near me that does disabled hand controls they wanted me to join them. It turns out every month or two they look for new people as the bosses sun runs it and he’s a massive

I grew up in an early 17 century cottage, the oak beams were like iron. To notch the joists the wood was so hard, my father ended up using a cold chisel. When he needed a fixing to one of the beams, the only thing he could get to work was he drilled & tapped it 1/4 Whitworth!Wasn't mine, I suspect Norbert had brought cheep.
My Flat bit was slow, as wood was tough, but we did the job.
That didn't go well, Can you still get replacement glass for it?AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH

Working it free, then theer was a crack and I now have more bits that I started with.
Then trying to set up a picture. I managed to knock a decent old fashioned railway light of it's hook.

Smashed the lense and wraped the metal case.

Amps is amps. But of course, if it's at it's limit it will have a volt drop across it. Then your into I times V equals Watts, so if the V is lower it will heat up less.. confusing..what voltage though is the wire rated at . 240v ?? lower the voltage higher the amperage
I'm sure I have a lense here somewhere...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH
