Some do. Depends on if you want original or after market.Do the replacement glasses for those storm lanterns still bear a cast in the glass Elephant & carry the words " Made in India " ?
Me?Yes, I have met the gentleman
Are you a gentleman?
The funny thing is once them HMT bits go blunt you resharpen then and the edges just keep chipping. Not today but a couple of days ago. Broken stud in exhaust manifold (I didn't break it) on van (MOT fail) so drilling it out to replace. Its stainless, its hard as rock, awkward to get to. My HSS bits are just blunting and cheap HSS-Co set not making a dent. So go to local industrial suppliers and buy one of the most expensive drill bits I have ever bought an HMT Versadrive 8.5mm (£20 ) super duper dual hardened 8% cobalt fully ground and titanium coated. Had a test run at some 6mm plate I had lying around and it was miles ahead of any other bit I've used before. So you can probably guess where this is going, its managing to drill out the stud very well lovely chip formation too! anyway as it breaks through the back it catches and ping it shatters. 2 holes at £10 per hole
Never got the chance to resharpen this one . It got me out of a bind and £20 is cheaper than what the garage would have charged for doing it.The funny thing is once them HMT bits go blunt you resharpen then and the edges just keep chipping.
They're good, but they're not worth the price.
I've never known stainless bolts / studs to be used on exhaust manifolds, they're usually just high carbon steel with a copper coating - sometimes not even coated. Not today but a couple of days ago. Can't say that it 100% was stainless but it certainly looked and behaved like itI've never known stainless bolts / studs to be used on exhaust manifolds, they're usually just high carbon steel with a copper coating - sometimes not even coated.
On production engines? I'd have thought the yield strength would be too low compared to hardened or HC steel. Galvanic corrosion with Alu. heads would be a consideration too.See stainless all the time

I had a large Donner last night.
This morning I may have broken the Toilet.
who mentioned production engines,
admittedly the poster doesn't mention a production engine, but he doesn't say it's not either. If you hear the sound of hooves, think Horses not Zebra's.....Broken stud in exhaust manifold (I didn't break it) on van (MOT fail) so drilling it out to replace.

My sister's car was stalling after a long run Ford focus CMAX 1.8TDCI.
Apparently usual cause is a bad oring in the fuel filter. Which had been changed recently had to use a strap wrench to get the top off after the previous person had made it gorilla tight.

Oops
On a brighter note the o ring was toast.
