A couple of the spring loaded headlamp washer jet retainers had broken, apparently common with age. New parts were £30 to £50! I found someone in Serbia 3d printing them in PETG with stronger lugs for about £12 each, needing rubbed down and painted.

It's a while since I researched it. Looks like that agrees with my 20s thoughts. Measuring from the underside of the base to the tip of the wings. Is approx 14.8mm.

Unfortunately, time hasn't been on its side, some time in the past it was thrown into a rubbish pit, my Uncle later excavated looking for pottery.

No chrome back then, pre 1929ish would have been nickel.
