Looking for comments on how this has turned out. Its my first print ever and i am not sure what i should have expected.
It looks better on the top but fell apart and inside looks rough...
I should add its a stock stl that comes with the Anet A8 and it seems to be set at 180 hotend and 60 bed and i used PLA.

20% fill and 0.8 shell at a guess?
I think I have the hot end set to 200 or 210 and bed 40 or 50
Can check later if needed
There will be a recommendation on the PLA box or reel
Finish on top looks crisp enough.
Did you level bed with A4?

There are different PLA that have different temp range but 180 seems low. I run mine at 240.
The top shell needs to be roughly 6x layer height to be printed smooth. Less and the infill pattern can show through.

What is extrusion calibration?
You can read some articles on calibrating for close fitting parts.
Out of the box it should be standard and work though, but if you were printing letters in one colour and printing a separate piece with holes for them then calibration becomes very important.
However, if your bed is level and everything is "out of the box" setting it should work reasonably.
The below is a small file I drew / printed successfully, feel free to give it a try if you wish. Delete the .txt on the end to be able to use it as is (this is the gcode file of a successful print taken straight off the SD

Nothing to do with close fitting parts, it's calibrating the actual amount of material fed through the extruder to make sure you're not over or under extruding material, the build quality is so variable on cheap printers one can be spot on and one can be miles out.
Basically all you need to do is mark say 100mm of filament out of the extruder, warm the machine up and extrude 100mm close to the speeds and temperatures you print at (Because back pressure affects it somewhat), and make sure you're actually getting exactly 100mm, if not you can adjust your steps per mm in the firmware for the extruder until it's spot on.
I'd try a bit more temperature first though, especially if you're printing the infill fast, bump it to 200c and see how it comes out.

Out of the box with standard setting it is extremely unlikely......unless it's been messed with.Or you want parts that don't fall apart when you use 'em
Strangely it did click ...but like before only when doing the base layers....is that normal?

If it wobbles and isn't too slack then that's extruded out of the box average
I drew that playing with the freecad lofting tool which basically joins any shape to any other...…...ideal for bell mouths or ducts. The oblong to the circle is the "loft"
