Hi. Is this deal still available. I see members talking bout it still,but the link is saying the offer now expired. Any pointers please how to go about it. There is actually a boc plant here but they tell me i have to ring a agent for gas.they dont sell it only make it there . Thanks

As far as i know, the Volkzone offer is still available, BOC seem keen to attract any new business at the moment,

Easiest way to find out is to email one of the email addresses from back up the thread. I emailed in the morning and was able to collect that evening. I think it's now called the "Hobby welder" deal instead of Volkszone iirc

I took out the offer about a month ago so it's still going. I just walked in and did it over the phone in the store.

Just got the invoice paid for the next year, rental is now £50.89 inc. vat, up from £47.34 last year. Not bad at all.

Is there no rent on the Pureshield Argon? Had my rental September 20th £73.54 inc Vat the same price as Optima21 in post #824.

My renewal for pure Argon isn't till February I think it is £73.54 tho.

It's possible, I paid for 1 month's rent + gas fill in month 1, then a monthly rental of about £6-7 thereafter.

I have Argoshield Light & pure Argon on rental for about £10.50

As far as I know it is still available to new customers. You would need to ring and check. Not sure about Irish customers. I signed up over the phone with Boc HQ, but when I went to collect the bottle the shop staff didn't know about the deal - and this was in the shop on the Boc HQ site in Worsley. Most agents don't seem to know about the Volkszone deal, which is why you have to do it over the phone.

I swapped my bottle last week - same prices as Ben mentions above.

Argoshield Light size Y is 29.06 gas price, surcharge 0.79p, rental £42.41 per year

Pureshield Argon size Y is 35.57 gas price, surcharge 0.79p, rental £61.28 per year

Prices excluding VAT and contract is for 12 months
