No, she's commented that's it's bluer than expected, but it's okay. It also will coordinate with what we've planned for the interior. It's growing on me.

I've picked up the windows for each end. As I feared, the flange doesn't fully cover the rivet holes, so I'm thinking of making a facade around the gap, covering the holes. And sticking the window to that .

I spent the afternoon doing more percussive disassembly. There is only one more set of panels to remove, the original plywood at the back.

The end panel took a while, mainly as the teak panel boards had been reattached at some stage with good screws. I had to cut them off, they wouldn't unscrew.

The rust isn't as bad this end. I'm going to cut out the sections between the rivets and patch, rather than do the whole strip. Should be quicker.

I'm now thinking of sheeting the interior with insulated plaster board. Not use ply at all. Quicker, easier to paint and can put the panelling over it with glue.

That half inch foil backed stuff? That’s what I used in this house on external walls. Mrs79 wanted panelling on the bottom half. Went straight on with Sticks Like Shiit

Exactly. 25mm celotex and 12mm gypsum. The damp concerns me, but it should be okay, no worse than the workshop and that's fine.

If you do get a bit it seems to sort of live behind the foil.
I did the outside cladding after the inside (long story) and there was no DPM/OSB/Air Gap under the cladding. Bit of water had got through to the kingspan but the inside of the room was bone dry.
That in mind you’ll be fine I reckon.

I'll be using a breathable membrane.
The panels will need some work, but for now they're stacked in the workshop, most screws and nails removed.
I know there's probably a wizzy tool to make removing screws from old timber easier, but I made a drill bit to avoid the ripping as the head comes out.
Ninety percent of the time it works 100%.
