electric underfloor heating is kinda useless whilst copper pipe water heating is much better and will warm the floor much better

electric underfloor heating works far better with a harder surface and works well with tilling and slates as this gives a core to be heated

personally id go with the diesel heater or use an electric radiator

you can use wood as well with a rocket stove and the exhaust pipped underneath the rail wagon

I'll reflect more on it. My thoughts echo yours @gaz1 . Except the exhaust anywhere near the living space.

But a bit of toasted floor board under the feet does appeal.

as you can use flags under the floor it will create a core/ channel area or use steel makes no difference

as goes for the diesel heater you can use water with it

this one id with exhaust going through a radiator i wouldnt go this way but id fit a air to water heat exchanger on the end of it with a 400x400 rad

as goes for the fumes its on a flexi pipe just pipe above the roof height it will be enough

Then on to building a little blast cabinet for the fittings.

That it also serves as a blast cabinet for my Landrover parts is total coincidence.

Yes. Not great. Not enough pressure, I think. The grit was removing paint but too slowly. So I resorted to the grinder.

Anyway, lots done and now soaking in phosphoric acid. I'll blast the residue off tomorrow.
