Hi,
I no longer have a garden shed having erected two garden huts these without windows for security from our local low life.
Construction is simple frame with treated 6" x 1" boards for the rest including roof which was then felted; each hut sits on treated 3" x 3" square fence posts lifted clear of the ground. Stainless steels steel screws throughout. I designed lock covers cutting these out on my bandsaw to give weatherproofing to the locks and they work a treat. Living here in Yorkshire I was constantly fighting bad weather; mid summer it was often 10C pouring with rain and one day I was peppered by hail whilst slimy slugs and snails etc kept me company; the weather removed every bit of enjoyment from the job.
We live on a very steep valley side fully exposed to extremes of weather which is usually dire as it is as I type seldom letting up. Digging out just to get a bit of level ground was hard graft.
Both huts are clear of the ground offering lots of ventilation; they are heavy and solid.
The lock wooden covers I dreamt up and they work a treat costing nothing made from offcuts.
Kind regards, Colin.
