looks good mate but i would get some decent tile bits and drill and plug the pipe clips best way noting sticks to the glaze unless u rough it first with a small cutting disc then stick the clips on

Never seen anything so hard.....burnt out an array of bits on just one hole. Even the diamond bit a 19 quid a pop is dead after 2 holes.

They are porcelain mate. It demolished the bosch one i had like that.

Going slow and it does not touch it. I once saw a guy take a drill of a chap .....reduce the speed to a crawl and it flew through tough masonary but it was on hammer. So i realise the merit of drilling slow but honestly i have fitted a lot of tiles but nothing this hardness.

Take a SDS drill bit and sharpen it. They glide through them.

I advise testing on a scrap peice first it may work better with or without hammer to start off. I usually turn the chuck by hand until its cut through the glaze, once through if possible without hammer [stops it cracking] them hammer if needed for the full depth.

I finished one of the hooks today for my home gym. Loaded the bar up with some weight to test it. We'll see if it's still in one piece by morning! All going well a

bit of sanding tomorrow before a few coats of paint.

Knocked a couple of wheels up for a little compressor I have acquired all the materials from me scrap/off-cut bin.
Rims from a old co2 bottle spokes from a inkjet printer and hubs from a old weight bench

Had to fit this to passify the wife before i head off again..

Main problem i had was drilling the porcelain tiles...mega hard. Although the hardibaker was tough stuff..

I used sticks like **** on the 15mm plastic pipe clips......what a waste of time. Just fell off.
Anyone got a better adhesive for plastic to porcelain as drilling would end up expensive...

Your air admittance valve needs to be above the level of the system.

"Air admittance valves, when installed, must finish above the highest flood level of the space the valve is in. E.g. If the valve is in the same room as a wash hand basin, it must be higher than the overflow of that basin. This is so the pressure equalisation can occur without breaking the water in the traps." .

Starrett adaptors anyone? The one in the middle is the commercial one. Either side are mine. Lets you fit two of the big or two of the small arbor hole saws on.

I keep this with my leccy tools for enlarging 20 to 25mm holes:

Cut the 20L containers with a multitool btw. Starrett holes at any internal corners if you want to be flash. Take the wispy bits off with wire wool. Done in the past with a Stanley.....but an accident waiting to happen!

Yes, de-rusting. It's just the container that I set up any time I need to clean something - last stuff through it were a bunch of horseshoes I got from someone. Still haven't used them except for the one I incorporated into the gate I made.
