I got a length of old scaffold pipe, the older stuff with the 'squashed' ends. It appears to be decent steel and turns quite well in the lathe. I've asked my source for some more......

Saved a load of the 30 mm and 40mm keyclamp stuff last year need to build the kids a climbing frame this summer.
Also aquired an mot failure.
Rear coil spring on the van is bust.
Can't say I'd noticed any difference in the ride so may have been like it when I bought.
Hopefully back today so I can work tomorrow.

I thought my Vito had a clunk on the front strut when on full lock, turned out to be a broken rear spring.

Feels odd now. Like my seats wonky. Must have been before I bought. Sensitive to changes in my vehicles.
One advise for front tyre been meaning to swap for the brand new spare

Spot on. Didn't do anything more than secure it today as van was in dry dock
Picked the drawers up free this afternoon so thought I'd dump the scaffold bar and drawers here until the weekend

Got a free day so put in the timber for the roof ready for the flooring, Just need a good price on some OSB 3 t+g local so i can sheet it tomorrow and a length of 100mm box section to stick out as lift point through the hole at the front

I’d love to post up some pics of the new workshops we are building but I’ll fall foul if forum rules if I do, but suffice to say it’s exciting to see it taking shape. We were nearing completion in the electrical installation today. One thing is for sure, you can never have enough 230v sockets.

I’ll ask an admin but I think I know what the answer will be. They have been quite clear on the issue.
It’s not much to look at though. It’s two twenty foot shipping containers welded together to make a box and another pair opposite with a roof between for the machine stores.

I did but since then there has been a bit of a crackdown on dealers posting pictures of their premises, there is a thread on it in the forum rules section. Posts from dealers showing business premises will be deleted without exception. It’s fair enough, i can see their point, there is a nice atmosphere here, nobody wants it to descend into a free for all with people like me trying to sell things to all and sundry by bombarding you all with adverts.
Anyway, it’s got nice painted walls, all metalclad sockets conduit and trunking, more sockets than I can shake a dirty stick at and good lighting so it’s a million times better than what I had to work from before. I’m really looking froward to operating from it now I can visualise the space and how the workflow should go.
