Found for 50p in a second hand shop.
Given to me and Mini Me as the neighbour children do not like ginger bread.
How long before it is eaten?
Finally, brought in local toy shop for half price as the box was damaged, eg it was water loged.
Complete, but build manual was ruined.

Not with a ole through the middle it's not
Not quite today but..... picked this Clarkson MK 1 tool grinder up from Pete couple of weeks ago.
Now sitting in the machine shop, complete with wheels which makes it more stable than the three mounting points it comes with.
Just need to pick up the table that I forgot and left and Pete's
Then got to try and find (or make) the grinding attachments/mounts for the table.

Nice bit of kit, makes my toes curl seeing it sat on those disaster castors!
Is it......lol I was gonna weld all.mine up after seeing that as I thought it must be worthless. Got loads of shelves but no ends for them.....lol
Disaster castors! what an excellent name. I used to have a startrite bandsaw mounted on wheels like that, made it easy to move around. However one morning i was taking the nipper to playschool, it was chucking it down with rain so we went in the garage & took the truck (Moggie pick up) I threw the up & over door up, jumped in & strapped son in his seat then shot out of the garage. I remember this mighty crash & cloud of dust behind me & as i jumped out to shut the garage door there was the bandsaw laying on its front,table twisted round at 45 degrees. Yep the power lead that was coiled up hanging on the fence had fallen down & lassooed the rear bumper of the truck. I shut the door & didnt dare going in there for two days.
Fortunately it wasnt badly damaged & was easily repaired. It was never the same after that though!

That's horrible, I would have closed the door a lot longer than two days! Always a worry seeing a full set of casters under tall machines, the reduced footprint with wheels mean they can go over easily depending on the c of g.
