Of course. Until you tidy up!i bet you know where everything is as well![]()
Now that's a wood lathe and a halfI cant stand an untidy place, I think I must be a bit autistic or something. View attachment 389429
My desk is immaculate up stairs at work and my welding bench is equally as immaculate as the building I work in, homes the same
Can’t stand a mess, there’s a few at work that operate in chaos. Takes them x5 times longer to do anything and find anything plus the half ar5ed clear up that follows
You've hit the nail on the head.I do and I don't agree.
The lads I'm with impressively cleans vans, but they spend more time tidying than working. In 12hr day I might have driven 4hrs total but worked 8hrs straight forgetting lunch.
Everything gets launched in sod spending about 30mins sorting out.
But equally I hate mess and chaos but I'm damn good at creating it!
I think my issue in my workshop is lack of storage options soon to be fixed.
it looks like someone has nicked everything bar the TV and sofa .
Stresses me outI cant stand a 'busy' house, ours is clutter free, it looks like someone has nicked everything bar the TV and sofa .
If I lived in my workshop, it would be spotless. (Best not mention that to the wife, she might take me up on the offer)![]()
Trinkets everywhere and stuff everywhere, hoarders in the making I sometimes think.
I take you dont have an air rifle
I'm minimalist too. I like the "just been burgled" look. Each to their own. I get stressed if I can't find stuff. I like to just crack on and not waste time looking for stuff.
People who know me well suggest I'm on the spectrum, but I'm comfortable with that!
Minimalist living, they call it.
That floor is bloody lovelyI cant stand an untidy place, I think I must be a bit autistic or something. View attachment 389429
Bloody 'ell, I thought it was lino.I was very lucky and got a load of them for £20 each
Yeah it was fun laying it on bitumen, I went through two electric planers leveling it out before I could use a floor sander. It feels nice to walk on.
Wait until he gives up clothing......UghMinimalist living, they call it.
The training school where I served my time, as a Fitter in the early 80's, at ICI Wilton, had an end grain wooden floor. It was huge..That floor is bloody lovely
It's all part of the 6 sigma rigmarole - It all works brilliantly until management get hold of it! 5S ALWAYS fails on the 5th element - Sustain, because you're never given any time to maintain it. It's a mindset, NOT a one-off exercise - We don't do it right unless it's a Japanese company in the UK5s? Assume it's a forces thing?
